AC Technician
\nPT Mutiara Asia Makmur is seeking a dedicated AC Technician to join our service team in Karawang, Jawa Barat. This contract position offers hands-on exposure to a range of air conditioning systems, from residential units to light commercial installations. If you have at least 2 years of experience and a passion for maintaining comfortable, reliable climate control for customers, we want to hear from you.
\nAs part of our field service team, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, diagnosing, and repairing air conditioning equipment. You will perform routine preventive maintenance, handle refrigerant handling and safety procedures, and ensure systems operate efficiently and safely. A strong focus on quality workmanship, documentation, and customer communication is essential. You will use diagnostic tools and access to modern equipment to identify issues quickly and deliver durable solutions while maintaining compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibility

- Install, service, diagnose, and repair air conditioning systems (residential and light commercial) to ensure reliable performance. \n
- Perform preventive maintenance and system tune-ups to maximize efficiency and longevity. \n
- Troubleshoot electrical, refrigerant, and control systems; replace components as needed with minimal downtime. \n
- Read and interpret manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams to correctly diagnose issues. \n
- Maintain accurate service logs, parts inventories, and work orders in the company system. \n
- Collaborate with maintenance teammates and supervisors; provide clear explanations to customers about findings and remedies. \n
- Adhere to safety policies, standard operating procedures, and environmental regulations when handling refrigerants. \n
- Respond promptly to service calls within the Karawang area and deliver high-quality customer service. \n
Qualification

- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience as an AC technician or in HVAC maintenance. \n
- Technical diploma or vocational training in HVAC, electrical systems, or related field. \n
- Solid understanding of air conditioning principles, refrigerants, electrical safety, and leak detection. \n
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, wiring schematics, and blueprints. \n
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with a proactive, customer-focused mindset. \n
- Excellent communication skills in Indonesian; ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical clients. \n
- Willingness to work in Karawang region and possess a valid driver's license; willingness to travel to client sites as required. \n
