Responsibility
- Monitor premises and conduct regular patrols to deter theft, vandalism, and safety risks.
- Control entry and exit points; verify visitor credentials and enforce access policies.
- Operate and monitor surveillance systems, alarms, and safety equipment.
- Respond to incidents and emergencies; coordinate with local authorities when required.
- Prepare incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift handover notes.
- Enforce health and safety policies; identify hazards and report maintenance needs.
- Provide courteous customer service to employees, clients, and visitors while maintaining security protocols.
Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent; security training or certification is a plus.
- 1+ year of experience in security or protective services preferred.
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
- Strong observation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, nights, and weekends.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to maintain clear written reports.
- High integrity, reliability, and the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
