As an Account Officer, you will be the frontline liaison for customers and internal teams, ensuring timely invoicing, accurate account reconciliation, and compliant financial operations. You will collaborate with sales, collections, and customer service to optimize the debtor portfolio, reduce days sales outstanding (DSO), and uphold high standards of accuracy and integrity.

Responsibility
- Manage daily accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, posting payments, and reconciling customer accounts.
- Build and maintain relationships with debtors and potential debtors, ensuring timely collections while delivering excellent service.
- Monitor aged receivables, follow up on outstanding payments, and coordinate with sales and collections to resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare regular account statements and management reports, highlighting risks and cash flow implications.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and compliant financial records and reporting.
- Support month-end close by reconciling accounts, assisting with audits, and maintaining clean ledgers.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Account Officer, Accounts Receivable Clerk, or similar role in financial services or lending.
- Strong knowledge of accounts receivable, collections, and reconciliation processes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with accounting software (eg SAP, Oracle, or a local ERP).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in Indonesian and English.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment and manage multiple deadlines.
- Familiarity with debt management, cash flow, and DSO metrics is a plus.
