As part of a collaborative team, you will translate complex data into actionable insights, partner with underwriters and finance teams, and contribute to client-ready deliverables.
Responsibility
- Develop and maintain pricing and forecasting models for commercial lines, life, and health products, ensuring accuracy and repeatability.
- Perform reserving analyses and experience studies to support financial statements and regulatory reporting.
- Analyze large datasets, validate model assumptions, and document methodology for transparency and audit readiness.
- Collaborate with underwriters, finance, and data science teams to translate business questions into actuarial solutions.
- Prepare client-ready reports, presentations, and management dashboards; communicate results with clarity to non-technical stakeholders.
- Support FCAS/ACAS exam progress and contribute to mentorship for junior analysts.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 2-5 years of actuarial experience in pricing, reserving, or risk modeling.
- Passage of actuarial exams or progression toward FCAS/ACAS.
- Proficiency in Python or R, SQL, and advanced Excel; experience with actuarial software (Prophet, Emblem) is a plus.
- Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex analyses to technical and non-technical audiences; team-oriented and collaborative.
