You will work with a collaborative team, leverage modern tools, and help shape strategy through rigorous data analysis and clear storytelling.
Responsibility
- Lead or support pricing, reserving, and experience studies across assigned lines of business.
- Develop and validate actuarial models using Prophet, R, Python, and SQL; ensure robust documentation and reproducibility.
- Collaborate with underwriting, finance, and product teams to translate results into actionable business decisions.
- Prepare actuarial reports, reserves analysis, and quarterly experience analyses for governance and regulators.
- Perform data extraction, quality control, and scenario testing to inform strategic planning.
- Monitor risk exposures, contribute to ERM initiatives, and assist in regulatory reporting.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements in modeling workflows.
Qualification
- Bachelorβs degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field; pursuing ASA/CA or equivalent progress welcomed.
- 2-5 years of actuarial experience in pricing, reserving, or risk modeling; life or P&C experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel and programming languages (Prophet, SAS, R, Python) and SQL.
- Strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail; excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to explain complex analyses to non-technical stakeholders and influence business decisions.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and reporting processes relevant to US markets.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; team-oriented mindset.
