Responsibility

  • Develop and maintain pricing and forecasting models for multiple product lines using robust actuarial methods.
  • Analyze claims, policy data, and external indicators to assess risk and profitability.
  • Collaborate with underwriting, product, and finance teams to shape pricing strategies and reserves.
  • Validate model inputs, perform sensitivity analyses, and document methodologies to actuarial standards.
  • Prepare reports for senior leadership and present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Support regulatory compliance through accurate documentation and traceability of key assumptions.
  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field; actuarial track with exams in progress (ASA/FCAS or equivalent).
  • 3-5 years of actuarial experience in pricing, reserving, or risk analytics.
  • Proficiency in Python and/or R, SQL, and advanced Excel; ability to build and validate complex models.
  • Strong knowledge of pricing methodologies, loss reserving, and exposure modeling.
  • Experience with actuarial software and data visualization tools; familiarity with Prophet or similar is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into analytical solutions with meticulous attention to detail.
