You will work on pricing models, reserving analyses, and financial reporting for leading insurers and reinsurers. Responsibility
- Develop and validate actuarial pricing and reserving models using Python, R, and SQL
- Analyze large datasets to identify pricing drivers, trends, and risk factors
- Prepare actuarial reports, dashboards, and client-ready presentations
- Support IFRS 17/US GAAP reporting and other regulatory disclosures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including underwriting, product management, and finance
- Assist in model governance, validation, and documentation
- Communicate complex results clearly to non-technical stakeholders
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field; progress toward ASA/ACAS credentials
- 3+ years actuarial experience in pricing, reserving, or risk analysis
- Strong programming skills in R and Python and proficient SQL
- Experience with IFRS 17, US GAAP, or equivalent reporting frameworks (preferred)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client-service skills
- Proven analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with actuarial software (Prophet, TAS, or similar)
