Responsibility

  • Develop and validate actuarial pricing and reserving models for multiple product lines using R, Python, and SQL.
  • Conduct experience analyses, credibility assessments, and trend testing to inform pricing and product strategies.
  • Collaborate with underwriting, finance, and product teams to translate data insights into actionable business recommendations.
  • Prepare actuarial reports for senior management, including risk metrics, reserves, and capital implications.
  • Assist with regulatory reporting, model governance, and documentation to ensure compliance.
  • Support model development and validation, ensuring adherence to actuarial standards and internal controls.
  • Lead or participate in special projects such as pricing innovations, product launches, or competitive benchmarking.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field; pursuing actuarial exams (CERA, CFR, CFA) preferred.
  • 3-5 years of actuarial experience in pricing, reserving, or risk analytics in insurance or consulting.
  • Strong proficiency in R, Python, and SQL; experience with SAS or Prophet is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of reserving techniques, pricing methods, experience studies, and credibility theory.
