Responsibility

  • Develop and maintain robust actuarial models for pricing, reserving, and forecasting across multiple lines of business.
  • Collaborate with underwriting, data science, and finance to translate data into actionable strategic insights.
  • Assess risk exposures, perform scenario testing, and communicate findings to senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure model governance, documentation, validation, and compliance with IFRS 17 and relevant regulations.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field; actuarial credentials such as ASA/ACAS are preferred or in progress.
  • 2-6 years of actuarial experience in pricing, reserving, or risk analytics, preferably in insurance or reinsurance.
  • Strong modeling skills in R and Python; proficient SQL and Excel; experience with Prophet, Moses, or similar tools is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of IFRS 17, US GAAP, or other relevant regulatory frameworks and ability to translate financial data into actuarial metrics.
