You will lead and contribute to cutting-edge AI research across domains such as supervised and unsupervised learning, reinforcement learning, NLP, and data-driven decision systems. Responsibilities include designing controlled experiments, building scalable models, evaluating performance, and translating research results into practical prototypes that can scale across products. You will document your methodologies and maintain reproducible code to support collaboration and auditing.
As a remote team member, you will collaborate with cross-functional colleagues in data science, software engineering, and product management. You will present findings to stakeholders, write technical reports, and participate in regular knowledge-sharing sessions. Responsibility
- Lead design, development, and evaluation of AI/ML models for research projects aligned with product goals.
- Plan and execute rigorous experiments, including data collection, preprocessing, and statistical analysis.
- Develop prototypes and proofs-of-concept that translate research into practical solutions.
- Collaborate with data science, software engineering, and product teams to align research with business outcomes.
- Document methodologies, maintain reproducible code, and write clear technical reports.
- Present research findings to stakeholders and mentor junior researchers when applicable.
- Stay current with AI literature, publish results when appropriate, and contribute to internal tooling.
Qualification
- STEM PhD (or equivalent) with a strong research track record in AI/ML, preferably in areas like machine learning, NLP, CV, or data science.
- Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn).
- Experience with data processing, statistical analysis, and experimental design.
- Strong communication skills and ability to articulate complex concepts to non-specialists.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage time effectively.
- Publications, conference presentations, or other evidence of research impact is a plus.
- Willingness to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and cultures; proficient in English.
