Join Primepower Manpower Services as an Aircon Technician (M) and play a critical role in maintaining comfort for guests at a 3-star hotel in Malate, Metro Manila. You will be on-site performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of cooling systems to ensure reliable operation and energy efficiency. This role is ideal for hands-on technicians who value quality workmanship, safety, and customer service.
On-site you will coordinate with the hotel engineering team, adhere to strict safety standards, and deliver timely service with minimal disruption to guests. You will document service activities, track spare parts usage, and provide recommendations for system improvements. The position offers competitive monthly pay of PHP 17,500 to PHP 18,000, plus opportunities for skill development and career growth within the hospitality sector.
Key responsibilities include preventive maintenance, diagnosis of HVAC issues, replacement of components, and performance testing of air conditioning equipment. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of refrigerant handling, electrical circuits, and control systems, with a focus on reliability and energy efficiency.

Responsibility
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine service on air conditioning units (split-type and centralized systems) to ensure optimal performance for a hotel environment.
- Diagnose issues, repair faulty components (compressors, fans, controls, electrical wiring), and minimize downtime with efficient fault isolation.
- Install, replace, and test new air conditioning equipment as required by maintenance schedules and guest comfort standards.
- Conduct on-site inspections and maintain accurate service records, including parts used and time spent.
- Collaborate with hotel engineering and housekeeping teams to coordinate service windows and minimize disruption to guests.
- Ensure compliance with safety, electrical, and local regulations; follow lockout/tagout procedures and PPE requirements.
- Provide clear explanations of problems and solutions to hotel staff and customers with professional communication.
- Assist in energy-saving initiatives and recommend improvements to optimize cooling efficiency and operating costs.
Qualification
- Technical/Vocational course in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or related field; NC II is a plus.
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience in HVAC maintenance and repair, preferably in hotel or hospitality settings.
- Strong knowledge of refrigerants, electrical wiring, controls, and diagnostic tools.
- Proficient in reading manuals, schematics, and safety procedures; able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work on-site at a hotel in Malate and adapt to on-call or shift-based schedules.
- Valid trade certification and adherence to safety standards and local regulations.
- Basic computer skills for logging service activities and parts inventory.
