As part of our facilities team, you will diagnose and address issues across electrical, lighting, plumbing, HVAC, and structural systems. Your day-to-day work includes preventive maintenance scheduling, on-site repairs, supplier coordination, and documenting all activities to ensure traceability and compliance with safety regulations. Responsibility
- Perform routine building maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general facilities.
- Inspect electrical systems, lighting, plumbing, and HVAC components; execute preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies; coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
- Repair or replace defective building systems and fixtures to ensure safety and reliability.
- Maintain and repair lighting, safety equipment, and building automation systems.
- Monitor inventory of spare parts and tools; initiate procurement when stock is low.
- Assist with minor renovations, space changes, and upkeep planning to support operations.
- Document maintenance activities, update logs, and follow safety and compliance procedures.
Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical courses in facilities maintenance or related field are a plus.
- 2+ years of hands-on building maintenance or facilities management experience.
- Solid knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems; able to troubleshoot and perform repairs.
- Ability to read basic blueprints and mechanical diagrams; comfortable with basic measurement tools.
- Familiarity with safety standards, local building codes, and safe work practices; commitment to a safe work environment.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and prioritization skills; able to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving items, with flexibility to work outside regular hours when required.
