Overview

Private Advertiser is seeking a dedicated Pastry Associate to join our kitchen team in Brgy. Inosluban, Lipa City, Batangas. This full-time role offers hands-on experience in a busy bakery, allowing you to grow your pastry skills while delivering quality products to our local customers.

In this role, you will work closely with experienced bakers to prepare, bake, decorate, and package a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts. You will follow standardized recipes and portion controls, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and adhere to food-safety guidelines to ensure the highest levels of quality and safety. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and passionate about pastry craftsmanship.

Responsibilities include collaborating with the team to meet daily production targets, managing ingredient stock, and ensuring on-time display of fresh goods. You will also be involved in quality checks, flavor development support, and maintaining accurate records for inventory and waste. Responsibility

  • Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, breads, and desserts following standard recipes and quality guidelines.
  • Measure, mix, bake, and decorate doughs and fillings with precision to ensure consistent texture and flavor.
  • Decorate and present finished products to meet brand standards and customer expectations.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary workstations; adhere to food safety and sanitation policies.
  • Assist with portioning, packaging, labeling, and merchandising to support daily display and inventory management.
  • Monitor ingredient levels, assist with ordering and receiving supplies, and communicate shortages to the kitchen lead.
  • Collaborate with bakers and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth production flow and timely service.
  • Adhere to safety policies and contribute to a positive, efficient work environment.

Qualification

  • Proven experience in pastry or bakery operations; familiarity with dough handling, fillings, icing, and decorating is desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, flavor pairing, and presentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver consistent quality in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and creative presentation skills.
  • Team player with good communication and a willingness to learn new techniques.
  • Adherence to hygiene, sanitation, and food-safety standards; ability to follow SOPs.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Flexible availability including weekends or early mornings as required.
