Join Dwi Cermat Indonesia as an Anti Fraud - Desk Investigator Officer and play a pivotal role in safeguarding our financial operations. This contract position supports the Credit Operations leadership by managing end-to-end anti fraud and investigation processes. You will detect, triage, investigate, and resolve suspicious activity while ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
As a Desk Investigator, you will analyze transactional data, review customer dossiers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to isolate risks and implement preventive measures. You will maintain detailed case documentation, prepare investigative summaries, and communicate findings to senior stakeholders including the Head of Credit Ops. Your work will help uphold customer trust and protect the integrity of our financial services.

You will also leverage data analytics and case management tools to monitor alerts, maintain case status, and deliver timely updates. You will work with internal controls owners to test and enhance fraud prevention measures and participate in audits and compliance reviews as required.
Responsibility
- Lead and conduct end-to-end anti fraud investigations across the assigned portfolio from initial alert through case resolution.
- Analyze transactional data, system logs, and customer records to detect patterns and anomalies indicating potential fraud.
- Perform risk assessment and triage to determine escalation level and required actions.
- Prepare clear, well-documented case files, investigative notes, and reports for internal stakeholders and regulators.
- Liaise with the Head of Credit Ops and cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and preventive controls.
- Provide timely updates and dashboards to management, highlighting key risks and remediation status.
- Coordinate with external parties when needed, including law enforcement or external auditors, while maintaining compliance with privacy and data protection standards.
- Ensure adherence to AML/CTF regulations and internal control standards across all investigations.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, law, criminology or a related field.
- Proven experience in anti fraud investigations, financial crime, or risk management.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail; proficient in data analysis and case management.
- Knowledge of AML/CTF regulations, KYC and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present findings clearly to stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment; strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with data querying tools; experience with case management systems.
