Join our premier archival services team as an Archiving Specialist. In this role you will steward physical and digital records, ensure long term preservation, and support information governance initiatives for clients across industries.

Responsibility
- Develop and implement archival strategies, metadata schemas, and retention schedules for physical and digital collections.
- Catalog, accession, and ingest new records using standardized metadata such as Dublin Core and METS, ensuring accurate classification.
- Digitize, OCR, and preserve legacy materials while maintaining image quality and data integrity.
- Manage access controls, permissions, and privacy considerations to ensure compliant retrieval and secure access.
- Conduct regular audits, integrity checks, and risk assessments to safeguard archives and ensure long term preservation.
- Collaborate with IT, legal, and business units to support records management and disaster recovery planning.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and metrics on archival activities for stakeholders and clients.
Qualification
- Bachelor degree in Library Science, Archival Studies, Information Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in archives, records management, or digital preservation.
- Strong understanding of archival standards such as Dublin Core, METS/ALTO, and PREMIS with a focus on metadata quality.
- Experience with digital asset management systems or content management systems such as SharePoint, Alfresco, or OpenText, and digitization workflows.
- Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements including data retention and privacy considerations.
- Proficiency with scanning, OCR, indexing, and quality control metrics; strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
