Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end production management for scheduled performances, including budgeting, scheduling, and vendor coordination.
- Collaborate with artistic directors to shape programming, concept development, and creative planning.
- Oversee contracts, payroll, fundraising reporting, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate marketing partnerships and audience outreach with the marketing team to maximize impact and attendance.
- Plan and supervise technical rehearsals, load-in/load-out, and safety protocols.
- Maintain strong relationships with venues, sponsors, donors, and community partners.
- Manage production staff, freelancers, and volunteers to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Arts Administration, Theatre, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in theatre production, arts programming, or equivalent roles.
- Strong budgeting, grant management, and fundraising capabilities with a track record of delivering on financial targets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools and production software; familiarity with ticketing systems is a plus.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as required; capacity to lead diverse teams and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of safety standards, HR/compliance basics, and contractual best practices for performing arts.
