NovaStage Theatre Collective is seeking a dynamic Performing Arts Program Producer to lead the design, development, and execution of the company's artistic programs in Berlin. This full-time role combines artistic leadership with strong operational and fundraising capabilities to deliver compelling stage productions, community engagement, and touring opportunities.
In this role you will collaborate with artists, directors, and partners to curate resonant programs that reflect Berlin's diverse cultural landscape while upholding exceptional production standards.
Key responsibilities and expectations include leading project timelines, budgets, and staffing; cultivating partnerships with venues, funders, and community groups; overseeing casting, rehearsals, and technical elements; and ensuring safe, inclusive, and compliant operations across all programs.

Responsibility
- Lead the planning and execution of artistic programs including staging, casting, and technical planning.
- Manage budgets, grants, and sponsorships; monitor expenditures and reporting.
- Collaborate with Artistic Director and external partners to curate seasons and special projects.
- Oversee scheduling, rehearsals, venues, and technical requirements to ensure high production quality.
- Develop audience development strategies; coordinate marketing with the team to grow attendance.
- Ensure compliance with safety, accessibility and regulatory standards across all programs.
- Build and maintain relationships with artists, educators, and community organizations.
Qualification
- Bachelor's or equivalent in arts administration, theatre, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in performing arts program management or theatre production.
- Proven track record in budget management and fundraising.
- Strong project management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience collaborating with diverse artistic teams and community partners.
- Knowledge of Berlin performing arts ecosystem; fluency in English; German language preferred.
- Ability to travel within the region and work evenings or weekends as required.
