Responsibility
- Deliver high-quality undergraduate and graduate philosophy courses.
- Develop and update curriculum in areas such as ethics, metaphysics, or logic.
- Advise and mentor students on academic progress and research.
- Conduct original research resulting in publications and conference presentations.
- Collaborate with faculty on interdisciplinary teaching and research initiatives.
- Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and community outreach.
- Organize guest lectures and symposiums to enhance intellectual engagement.
- Maintain an active presence in regional, national, and international philosophical associations.
Qualification
- Ph.D. in Philosophy from an accredited institution (ABD considered).
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching at the college or university level.
- Strong record of scholarly research and peer-reviewed publications.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to foster an inclusive learning environment.
- Engagement with contemporary philosophical debates.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across disciplines.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
