The Aurora Institute for Philosophy and Ethics invites applications for a full time tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Philosophy with a focus on Ethics and Logic. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses, contribute to a dynamic research program, and participate in collegial faculty governance.

Responsibility
- Design, deliver, and assess undergraduate and graduate courses in ethics, logic, epistemology, and related areas
- Supervise student theses and dissertations, fostering rigorous inquiry and methodological pluralism
- Develop and maintain an active research program, publish in peer reviewed journals, and present at major conferences
- Apply for external funding and manage grant funded projects in collaboration with colleagues
- Contribute to curriculum development, program assessment, and department service
- Engage in public philosophy outreach and community education initiatives
- Mentor junior faculty and promote inclusive teaching and research practices
Qualification
- PhD in Philosophy or a related field by start date
- Evidence of research excellence with publications in reputable journals
- Teaching experience at university level with a strong record of student mentorship
- Ability to teach in Ethics and Logic and related domains across undergraduate and graduate levels
- Experience in securing external funding or demonstrated potential to do so
- Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in teaching and research
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills with a collegial, interdisciplinary mindset
