Responsibility
- Teach a collegial load of undergraduate and graduate theology courses, including core and elective offerings.
- Design inclusive syllabi, assessments, and innovative learning experiences.
- Supervise and advise student research projects and theses.
- Engage in active scholarship and contribute to departmental research initiatives.
- Develop and participate in interdisciplinary programs bridging faith, ethics, and public life.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and program assessment.
- Participate in service to the college, including student mentoring and committee work.
- Represent the department in community outreach and faith-based partnerships.
Qualification
- Ph.D. in Theology or a closely related field by the start date.
- Evidence of teaching excellence and a robust scholarly record.
- Experience teaching across introductory to advanced theology topics (biblical studies, church history, systematic theology).
- Active research agenda with publications in peer-reviewed venues.
- Ability to contribute to curriculum development and program accreditation processes.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and mentorship skills.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in teaching and service.
- Facility with online and hybrid teaching modalities and learning management systems.
