Join CedarBridge Seminary & Theological Institute in Boston as an Assistant Professor of Theology. This full-time position welcomes scholars who combine rigorous scholarship with a heart for teaching and spiritual formation. The ideal candidate will contribute to undergraduate and graduate programs, engage in ecumenical dialogue, and mentor students preparing for ministry, academia, and service.

Responsibility
- Teach a diverse slate of undergraduate and graduate theology courses, including Systematic Theology, Biblical Interpretation, Ethics, and Practical Theology.
- Develop new course content, assessments, and experiential learning opportunities aligned with accreditation standards.
- Advance an active research agenda with a plan for publication and conference presentations.
- Advise and mentor students, supporting their academic, spiritual, and vocational formation.
- Participate in faculty governance, curriculum committees, and assessment activities.
- Engage in interfaith or ecumenical dialogue and community outreach to strengthen public theology.
- Contribute to grant writing, fundraising, and program development as needed.
Qualification
- PhD or Doctor of Theology in a relevant field; or ABD with a clear publication plan and progress toward completion.
- Demonstrated teaching excellence in theology, biblical studies, or religious studies, with evidence of inclusive pedagogy.
- Experience teaching and mentoring a diverse student body; strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Active research agenda with publications in peer-reviewed venues or monographs; willingness to develop grant proposals.
- Commitment to the mission of the institution and to fostering spiritual and intellectual growth.
- Ability to contribute to curriculum development, assessment, and program accreditation.
- Willingness to participate in service roles and community engagement; ability to collaborate with colleagues across departments.
