Responsibility
- Supervise and guide the daily activities of the sales and events coordinators to ensure smooth and efficient event execution.
- Collaborate with clients to understand event requirements, provide effective solutions, and guarantee exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Participate in the development and implementation of sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with corporate clients, partners, and vendors to foster new business opportunities.
- Assist in preparing sales forecasts, budgets, and regular performance reports for upper management.
- Coordinate and manage on-site event operations, ensuring all logistics and arrangements meet the company’s standards.
- Train, mentor, and motivate team members to achieve departmental objectives and personal growth.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and potential leads to maximize hotel revenue.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hotel Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 2-4 years of proven experience in sales, hospitality, or event management, preferably within the hotel industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and sales management software.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, as required.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages are an asset.
