This role blends technical insight with strong client-facing collaboration across the Central Region, focusing on water quality analyzers for industrial and utilities sectors. In this position you will manage regional sales activities, build and nurture strategic accounts, and coordinate with engineering and product teams to ensure successful deployments. As part of a growth-oriented team, you will establish long term relationships with utilities, manufacturing sites, and water treatment providers, deliver compelling proposals, conduct product demonstrations, and negotiate contracts. Responsibility
- Drive sales of water quality analyzers across industrial and utilities sectors in the Central Region, meeting or exceeding quarterly targets.
- Develop and execute regional sales plans, forecast accurately, and manage a robust pipeline from lead generation to closing.
- Lead end-to-end sales cycles including prospecting, product demonstrations, proposals, contract negotiations, and post-sale follow-up.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key accounts, consultants, system integrators, and end-users to identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to tailor solutions to customer needs and deliver compelling ROI analyses.
- Deliver effective product demonstrations and technical presentations; translate customer needs into actionable requirements.
- Coordinate post-sale deployment, training, and support to ensure customer satisfaction and renewal opportunities.
- Monitor market trends and competitors; provide insights to leadership to shape the portfolio and go-to-market strategies.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, sciences, business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience in industrial, environmental, or water-related solutions; experience with water quality analytics is preferred.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand measurement technologies and customer processes.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing complex sales cycles.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; comfortable performing on-site demonstrations.
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics to manage opportunities and forecast accurately.
- Customer-focused with strong relationship management, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to travel regionally and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
