Responsibility
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, corporate documents, and regulatory filings.
- Perform comprehensive legal research and analysis on complex issues across jurisdictions.
- Advise clients on risk, compliance, governance, and strategic business decisions.
- Manage the contract lifecycle, due dates, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
- Collaborate with partners on litigation support, dispute resolution, and advocacy when needed.
- Coordinate with outside counsel and internal teams to optimize outcomes and efficiency.
- Prepare clear client communications, memos, and executive summaries for senior leadership.
Qualification
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school; admitted to the New York bar or eligible for admission within 12 months.
- 2-5 years of corporate, transactional, or litigation experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and oral communication skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent research and analytical abilities with proficiency in legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis).
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple matters and prioritize deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
