Responsibility
- Lead and manage complex commercial litigation matters from inception to resolution.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and develop case strategies that align with client objectives.
- Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, and briefs in state and federal courts.
- Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
- Advise clients on litigation risks, settlement options, and procedural strategy.
- Supervise junior attorneys, paralegals, and support staff within case teams.
- Maintain meticulous case documentation and compliance with legal ethics and firm standards.
- Build and sustain strong client relationships through proactive, solution-oriented counsel.
Qualification
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school; admitted to the New York State Bar
- 5+ years’ experience in commercial litigation, preferably with a reputable law firm
- Extensive knowledge of New York civil procedure and federal court rules
- Demonstrated success managing complex and high-stakes cases independently
- Exceptional legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
- Strong negotiation abilities and impeccable ethical standards
- Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent client service orientation and interpersonal communication skills
