Responsibility
- Lead and manage high-value corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions.
- Draft, negotiate, and review complex legal agreements and contracts.
- Advise clients on corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory matters.
- Conduct legal research and analysis for multifaceted business issues.
- Handle due diligence and risk assessment for business transactions.
- Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and settlement discussions.
- Collaborate with partners and cross-functional teams on strategic client matters.
- Supervise, mentor, and train junior lawyers and support staff.
Qualification
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active New York State Bar membership in good standing.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in corporate law (BigLaw preferred).
- Extensive exposure to complex M&A and transactional work.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Proven client relationship management abilities.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and in high-pressure environments.
