Responsibility
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, brakes, steering, suspension, electrical, and HVAC.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tune-ups.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify faults and ensure effective repairs.
- Road-test and verify repairs; ensure test drive results meet safety standards.
- Maintain accurate service records and communicate findings to technicians and customers.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Collaborate with service advisors to provide accurate estimates and timelines.
Qualification
- Proven experience as an auto mechanic or automotive technician.
- Knowledge of vehicle diagnostic equipment and repair procedures.
- Strong understanding of engine repair, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, and transmissions.
- Ability to read and interpret service manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
