Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and validation of automotive systems (powertrain, EV components, chassis, and ADAS) across multiple programs.
- Define system architectures, requirements, and Interface Control Documents (ICDs) to ensure clear communication between design, validation, and manufacturing teams.
- Execute CAE analyses, simulations, and tolerance studies; develop robust test plans, DVP&R, and verification activities.
- Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery, cost targets, and quality standards.
- Facilitate design reviews, risk assessments (FMEA), and adherence to automotive standards (ISO 26262, IATF 16949).
- Translate customer needs into engineering specifications and drive continuous improvement through data-driven decisions.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of automotive engineering experience, with a proven track record in EV or powertrain programs.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAE tools (CATIA, NX, SolidWorks) and scripting (Python, MATLAB) for analysis and automation.
- Strong experience with FMEA (DFMEA/PFMEA), APQP, and quality processes.
- In-depth knowledge of automotive standards and regulatory requirements (ISO 26262, IATF 16949).
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills; ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel as needed and eligible to work in the United States.
