Responsibility

  • Lead environmental engineering design and permitting efforts for water resources, remediation, air quality, and sustainability projects.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and coordinate with clients and regulatory agencies.
  • Conduct field investigations, sampling, data analysis, and risk assessment.
  • Mentor junior engineers and review design drawings, technical memos, and reports.
  • Apply GIS and hydrologic modeling to support design decisions and risk-based analyses.
  • Prepare permit applications, regulatory submissions, and project compliance documentation.
  • Ensure quality assurance, health and safety, and regulatory compliance across all projects.

Qualification

  • Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering or related field; Professional Engineer license preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive environmental engineering experience in consulting or industry.
  • Experience with water resources, site assessment, remediation, and regulatory permitting.
  • Strong knowledge of EPA regulations and state environmental programs; familiarity with CERCLA, RCRA, and NEPA is a plus.
  • Proficiency in GIS (ArcGIS or QGIS), AutoCAD Civil 3D, and data analysis software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, report writing, and client management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, lead teams, and travel to field sites as needed.
