Pusat Tuisyen Sinar Mega is seeking a dedicated Bahasa Melayu Tutor to join our Seremban 2 learning center. This full-time role is ideal for patient educators who love inspiring lessons and measurable progress. You will work with primary and secondary students, delivering engaging Bahasa Melayu lessons, and aligning instruction with the Malaysian KSSM curriculum.
As part of our teaching team, you’ll design customized lesson plans, leverage interactive activities and multimedia resources, and monitor student progress to ensure each learner reaches their language goals. You will communicate regularly with students, parents, and fellow staff to tailor support, track milestones, and celebrate achievements. Responsibility
- Deliver engaging Bahasa Melayu lessons to assigned groups and individual students, aligned with the Malaysian KSSM syllabus.
- Design and implement customized lesson plans and learning materials that address different levels of ability.
- Assess student progress through regular quizzes, assignments, and formative feedback; maintain accurate records.
- Encourage active participation through interactive activities, technology tools, and group work.
- Provide timely feedback to students and communicate with parents on progress and next steps.
- Prepare students for exams (e.g., UPSR, PT3, SPM) with targeted practice and revision strategies.
- Maintain a positive learning environment with classroom management and strong student relationships.
- Collaborate with fellow tutors and staff to share best practices and contribute to curriculum improvements.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Malay Language, or a related field; teaching certification is preferred.
- Proven teaching or tutoring experience in Bahasa Melayu, ideally in a tuition center or school setting.
- Strong mastery of Bahasa Melayu, including grammar, comprehension, essay writing, and public speaking.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage students aged 6-18.
- Patience, creativity, and the ability to motivate students to achieve their language goals.
- Familiarity with the Malaysian KSSM curriculum and standard assessment methods.
- Proficient with digital learning tools (Google Classroom, slides, online exercises) and data-driven progress tracking.
- Ability to work full-time in Seremban and collaborate with a supportive teaching team.
