NovaBio Therapeutics is seeking a motivated Biology Research Scientist to join our expanding team in Boston, MA. Responsibility
- Design, optimize, and execute experiments in cell culture and molecular biology
- Perform PCR, qPCR, ELISA, sequencing, and related assays with meticulous data recording
- Plan and execute project-specific timelines, milestones, and deliverables
- Analyze data with statistical tools; prepare clear reports and presentations
- Collaborate with R/Python data analysis and bioscience teams
- Maintain and troubleshoot lab equipment; ensure compliance with protocols and safety
- Contribute to manuscript writing and internal knowledge sharing
- Support technology transfer and process development initiatives as needed
Qualification
- MS or PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related field
- 2+ years of hands-on laboratory experience in molecular biology and cell culture
- Proficiency with PCR/qPCR, ELISA, sequencing, and basic data analysis
- Strong problem-solving, experimental design, and critical thinking skills
- Experience with R or Python for data analysis is a plus
- Excellent documentation, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment
