You will design and execute cutting-edge molecular biology experiments aimed at advancing gene expression studies, disease modeling, and therapeutic discovery. Responsibility
- Design and execute molecular biology experiments including PCR, cloning, gene expression analysis, and assay development.
- Plan and perform experiments to support multiple project timelines while maintaining rigorous documentation.
- Analyze experimental data using statistical tools; summarize results in clear, data-driven reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (bioinformatics, chemistry, operations) to drive project milestones.
- Validate methods, optimize protocols, and ensure adherence to GLP/GMP and safety standards.
- Mentor junior scientists and manage a small protocol registry to maintain lab efficiency.
- Prepare technical notes, presentations, and publications; contribute to internal knowledge base.
Qualification
- Master's degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field; PhD preferred.
- 2+ years of hands-on lab experience in molecular biology and cell culture; experience with NGS is a plus.
- Proficiency with PCR, qPCR, cloning, sequencing, and related analytical techniques.
- Strong data analysis skills using R, Python, or equivalent; ability to interpret results and present conclusions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of GLP/GMP principles and laboratory safety, including SOP development.
- Eligibility to work in the United States and willingness to work in Boston, MA.
