Innovia Bio Labs is seeking a highly motivated Biology Research Scientist to join our expanding team in Cambridge. You will design and execute experiments across cellular biology, genomics, and assay development, translating findings into actionable discoveries. This is a hands-on role with opportunities for leadership and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibility
- Plan and execute biological experiments including cell culture, cloning, and assay development.
- Design and optimize experimental protocols, including controls and reproducibility measures.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data; prepare figures and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with biostatistics and computational biology teams to analyze omics or screening data.
- Maintain rigorous lab safety and equipment maintenance; manage inventory and consumables.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Publish findings in internal reports and contribute to external publications when appropriate.
Qualification
- Master's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field; PhD preferred.
- 3+ years of hands-on lab experience in mammalian cell culture, DNA/RNA techniques, and analytical assays (ELISA, qPCR, Western blot).
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in Python or R; experience with bioinformatics is a plus.
- Proven ability to design robust experiments and troubleshoot independently.
- Excellent documentation, scientific writing, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated collaboration in cross-functional teams and project management experience.
