We are seeking a seasoned Broadcast Engineer to maintain, monitor, and optimize our studio and transmission operations, ensuring seamless delivery to audiences worldwide.

In this role you will collaborate with producers, editors, IT, and engineering teams to uphold broadcast standards, reliability, and safety across all platforms.

Responsibility

  • Monitor and operate master control room during live and pre-recorded programming, ensuring signal integrity and timing.
  • Manage playout automation, ingest, transcoding, and video routing across broadcast and streaming playout systems.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in real-time, including cameras, switchers, routers, servers, and networking gear.
  • Collaborate with IT and facilities to ensure robust cybersecurity, backups, and disaster recovery for all broadcast assets.
  • Maintain documentation, standard operating procedures, and change control for all broadcast workflows.
  • Plan and implement preventive maintenance schedules, upgrades, and capacity planning for MCR and transmission infrastructure.
  • Support live event coverage, ENG operations, and remote broadcasts as needed.
  • Assist with quality control, audio leveling, and compliance with regulatory and regulatory standards.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Engineering, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in broadcast engineering or master control for television or streaming networks.
  • Strong knowledge of broadcast automation systems and video workflows from leading vendors.
  • Proficiency with video/audio routing, switching, and distribution equipment; familiarity with SMPTE and EBU standards.
  • Experience with live production environments, streaming protocols (HLS, RTMP, DASH), and encoders/decoders.
  • Hands-on IT networking and IP video experience; cybersecurity best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations as required.
