VividWave Media is seeking a seasoned Broadcasting Producer to lead live and pre-produced programming from our Los Angeles studio. You will work closely with producers, directors, and on-air talent to deliver high-quality content that engages audiences across television and digital platforms.
In this role, you’ll manage show rundowns, cueing, graphics, audio, and technical workflows to ensure clean, on-time broadcasts. You will lead a small team in a fast-paced environment, troubleshoot issues in real-time, and uphold regulatory and quality standards.

Responsibility
- Oversee live and pre-produced broadcasts from the control room, ensuring seamless delivery of content.
- Collaborate with producers, directors, and talent to plan daily rundowns and programming strategy.
- Manage timing, cues, and switch between video sources, graphics, and audio to maintain on-air quality.
- Operate studio equipment and broadcast automation systems; monitor signal integrity and broadcast clocks.
- Troubleshoot technical issues in real-time and coordinate rapid resolutions with engineering teams.
- Ensure compliance with FCC rules, copyright, and safety guidelines; uphold journalistic ethics and standards.
- Mentor junior staff, provide hands-on training, and maintain a collaborative team environment.
- Coordinate with post-production for content archiving, clipping, and distribution across platforms.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Broadcast Journalism, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in live TV, radio, or digital broadcast production.
- Proficiency with studio control rooms, video switching, audio consoles, intercom, and graphics pipelines.
- Strong understanding of broadcast workflows, scripting, timing, and quality control processes.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills; ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required for live programming.
- Knowledge of FCC regulations and basic media law; commitment to compliance and safety.
