PulseStream Broadcasting is seeking a Senior Broadcast Engineer to oversee live and post-production broadcast environments in a fast-paced studio and field production setting. You will ensure reliable delivery of high-quality video, audio, and data across multiple platforms, while guiding a talented team of operators and technicians.

Responsibility
- Oversee day-to-day technical operations for studio, control room, and OB vans, ensuring seamless live broadcasts.
- Design, install, configure, and maintain broadcast IT infrastructure, including routing, automation, servers, and encoders/decoders.
- Manage redundancy, monitoring, and disaster recovery for critical systems, with documented SOPs.
- Lead incident response, troubleshoot signal paths (SDI/IP), and coordinate with producers, editors, and IT staff under tight deadlines.
- Plan and execute equipment upgrades, calibration, and preventive maintenance.
- Evaluate new equipment and formats (HD, 4K, HDR, IP-based workflows) and create deployment roadmaps.
- Mentor junior engineers, provide hands-on training, and develop run-of-show procedures and checklists.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Broadcasting, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of broadcast engineering experience with hands-on live production work.
- Strong proficiency with SDI/HD-SDI, IP video, NDI, SMPTE standards, and routing control systems.
- Experience with video switchers, automation systems, playout servers, and master control room operations.
- Sound engineering knowledge, mic and audio routing, and familiarity with studio lighting and acoustics.
- Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of streaming protocols (RTMP/HLS), CDN delivery, cloud playout, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Broadcast IT, Dante, Cisco networking) are a plus.
