NovaWave Media is seeking a talented Broadcast Producer to oversee live and taped productions across our studio network. This role blends technical operations with creative storytelling to deliver high quality content for national and regional audiences.
You will collaborate with directors, editors, and engineers to ensure seamless broadcasts, scalable workflows, and on time delivery. We value innovation, reliability, and a passion for broadcasting technology.
Responsibility
- Oversee daily live and taped broadcast operations from concept through delivery.
- Manage production timelines, crew, and resource scheduling to hit deadlines.
- Configure and monitor studio switchers, audio consoles, graphics, and intercom systems.
- Collaborate with directors, producers, and editors to execute creative vision.
- Troubleshoot technical issues in real time and implement contingency plans.
- Ensure compliance with broadcast standards, safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain documentation, asset management, and smooth handoffs to post production.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Broadcasting, Media Production or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years in TV or streaming broadcast operations or live production.
- Proficiency with video switchers and control room systems; experience with Grass Valley, Ross, or Blackmagic.
- Experience with live graphics and virtual set tools such as Viz Engine, Chyron, or similar.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving under pressure with excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
