Join a leading broadcast team as a Broadcasting Technical Producer in Los Angeles. You will oversee live studio operations, ensure pristine broadcast quality, and drive technical workflows from setup through on-air execution. This role blends hands-on production with systems management to deliver compelling content across channels, streaming, and on-demand platforms.

Responsibility
- Oversee live production setups, camera feeds, audio, graphics, and playback for broadcast and streaming.
- Operate and troubleshoot key broadcast systems including switchers, routers, recorders, and playback servers.
- Collaborate with directors and producers to execute the Run of Show and shot list with precision.
- Monitor signal integrity, manage on-air quality, and implement failover procedures during outages.
- Lead pre-show checks, test graphics and media playout, and coordinate remote feeds.
- Maintain technical documentation, asset management, and inventory for all studio infrastructure.
- Train, schedule, and manage junior technicians and freelance operators on-site.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in media production, communications, or equivalent hands-on experience in live broadcasting.
- 3+ years in live broadcasting, control room operations, or equivalent technical production roles.
- Proficiency with broadcast gear and software (switchers, cameras, audio consoles) and familiarity with software like OBS, vMix, or Viz Engine.
- Strong knowledge of SDI/HDMI, NDI, RTMP, and streaming architectures; comfortable with live graphics and replay workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills; ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and on-site in Los Angeles; on-call availability for urgent outages.
- Industry certifications (e.g., OSHA-10, and vendor-specific certifications) are a plus.
