Merah Cipta Media is partnering with PT Mars Multi Mandiri to recruit a dedicated Building Systems Technician in Jakarta. This full-time role ensures safe and efficient operation of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems across our client facilities. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and coordinate with vendors to minimize downtime and optimize energy use.
As a hands-on technician, you will monitor system performance, perform on-site repairs, and maintain accurate maintenance records. You will collaborate with facilities and engineering teams to uphold safety standards and regulatory compliance while delivering reliable service to building occupants.

Responsibility
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of building systems including mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC to ensure safety, reliability and energy efficiency.
- Diagnose faults and perform repair work on electrical circuits, plumbing, HVAC equipment and related components.
- Monitor building management systems and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to address issues promptly.
- Perform routine maintenance on motors, pumps, transformers, air handlers and other equipment; replace worn parts and document work performed.
- Respond to maintenance requests, troubleshoot problems, and update service records and work orders.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes and environmental regulations; promote safe working conditions for colleagues.
- Assist in energy efficiency initiatives and equipment optimization projects to reduce operating costs.
- Maintain accurate inventory of parts and materials; organize tools and workplace to ensure rapid response times.
Qualification
- Diploma or degree in electrical, mechanical, building maintenance or HVAC related field; or equivalent hands on experience.
- Minimum 2-4 years of facilities maintenance or building systems experience in commercial environments.
- Solid knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical equipment, plumbing and HVAC fundamentals.
- Experience with building management systems or control systems is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics; strong problem solving and fault finding skills.
- Excellent communication, teamwork and time management; able to work on-site in Jakarta.
- Willingness to work in a facilities role with occasional on-call or shift responsibilities.
- Good safety mindset and commitment to quality workmanship.
