Responsibility
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the general insurance sector through networking and market research.
- Promote and sell a comprehensive range of general insurance products to individuals and corporate clients.
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with existing clients while acquiring new accounts.
- Conduct product presentations, provide professional advice, and tailor insurance solutions to meet clients' needs.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and business objectives through effective pipeline management.
- Coordinate policy renewals, endorsements, and ensure timely documentation for clients.
- Keep updated with market trends, competitors, and regulatory changes in the insurance industry.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer service and post-sales support.
Qualification
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Insurance, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Strong understanding of general insurance products and services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to build effective client relationships and deliver excellent customer service.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and familiarity with CRM tools is an advantage.
