Shopee's Business Development and Partnerships teams are dynamic, performance-driven groups focused on unlocking opportunities within the fashion category to elevate merchant success and deliver exceptional customer experiences. This internship offers a fast-paced, hands-on environment in Singapore, where youâll collaborate with brand partners, internal stakeholders, and market intelligence teams to drive strategic growth. Youâll gain exposure to the full lifecycle of fashion partnerships, from discovery to activation and optimization, while working alongside mentors who are experts in e-commerce and retail partnerships.
As a Fashion Business Development Intern, you will receive end-to-end exposure to the partnership lifecycleâfrom initial outreach and due diligence to onboarding, activation, and performance optimization. Youâll help craft compelling partner pitches, support contract coordination, and monitor key metrics that reveal impact on revenue, reach, and brand presence. Beyond day-to-day tasks, youâll participate in cross-functional projects with Marketing, Product, and Operations to launch campaigns, optimize assortments, and scale fashion partnerships across Southeast Asia.

Responsibility
- Identify and evaluate potential fashion brand and retailer partnerships to expand Shopeeâs fashion category in Singapore and across SEA.
- Assist with partner outreach, negotiations, and onboarding processes to activate new collaborations.
- Support tracking of partner performance, including sales, campaign effectiveness, and key metrics; prepare weekly and monthly reports for internal teams.
- Collaborate with Marketing to plan co-branded campaigns and merchandising initiatives that drive traffic and conversions.
- Conduct market research on fashion trends, competitor activity, and consumer behavior to inform partnership strategy.
- Coordinate cross-functional projects with Product, Operations, and Sales teams to ensure successful partner integration and launches.
- Prepare partner pitches and internal presentations for leadership reviews and executive sponsorship.
Qualification
- Current undergraduate or graduate student in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field; actively seeking May/June 2026 internship.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Analytical mindset with comfort using Excel/Google Sheets; basic data interpretation and storytelling with data.
- Interest in fashion, e-commerce, and marketplace partnerships; eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, self-motivated, with excellent time management and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with CRM or project management tools (e.g., Salesforce, Jira) is a plus and a willingness to learn.
- Team player who can collaborate across departments and manage multiple stakeholders.
