Job description

Maison Interiors and Architecture is seeking a results-driven Business Development Lead to accelerate revenue growth in the Jakarta market for commercial interior fit-out projects. This role blends strategic sales leadership, tender management, and client relationship building to win high-value projects with developers, corporate tenants, and facility managers.

As the leader of the business development function, you will own the end-to-end pursuit process—from market research and lead generation to proposal development and contract negotiation. You will collaborate with design, engineering, procurement, and operations to craft compelling solutions that align with client needs, sustainability goals, and project timelines. A successful candidate has a strong network within the Indonesian property and construction ecosystem, a proven track record in B2B sales for interior fit-out or related sectors, and a hunter mentality combined with disciplined account management.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets for commercial interior fit-out projects in Jakarta.
  • Identify, target, and engage developers, corporate tenants, facility managers, and procurement teams to create a robust pipeline.
  • Lead tender processes: RFP/RFI responses, pricing strategies, risk assessment, and coordination with internal teams to deliver compelling proposals.
  • Prepare and present winning commercial proposals, negotiate terms, and secure high-quality contracts.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, maintain accurate CRM records, and forecast revenue with accuracy.
  • Collaborate with marketing and design to produce impactful tender materials and marketing collateral.
  • Ensure smooth handover to delivery teams and maintain strong post-award client relationships to foster repeat business.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing to protect margins and identify new opportunities.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience in interior fit-out, architecture, interior contracting, or construction in Indonesia or Jakarta.
  • Demonstrated success in tendering, bid management, and contract negotiations.
  • Strong network within developers, real estate, and facility management sectors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Indonesian; persuasive presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office; ability to analyze data and forecast.
  • Self-starter who can work independently and cross-functionally with design, operations, and procurement.
  • Results-driven, solution-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
