Savino Del Bene is hiring a results-driven Business Development Manager in Singapore to accelerate growth for our global logistics network. In this role you will identify and pursue new business opportunities, win new clients, expand existing accounts, and close impactful deals that drive revenue and strategic value for our customers. You will engage with corporate clients, shippers and freight forwarders to craft integrated supply chain solutions that meet complex logistics requirements with efficiency and compliance.
You will partner with cross-functional teams across sales, operations and product to design and deliver tailored logistics solutions that address client needs. You will manage end-to-end engagements from prospecting and qualification through contract negotiation and onboarding, ensuring service excellence in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. This role requires a hunter mentality, consultative selling skills and the ability to translate business challenges into scalable logistics outcomes.
As a key member of our sales organization, you will cultivate relationships with senior decision-makers, develop compelling value propositions, and lead competitive bidding processes and RFP responses. You will leverage market insights and industry trends to expand Savino Del Bene's footprint in Singapore and the wider APAC region, collaborating with marketing to build pipeline and thought leadership. Responsibility
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities within Singapore and the broader APAC region to expand Savino Del Bene's logistics footprint.
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline with clear quarterly and annual targets, tracking progress in the CRM.
- Build and nurture relationships with C-level and other decision-makers in prospective client accounts to understand their supply chain needs.
- Lead end-to-end engagements from prospecting and needs discovery to contract negotiation and onboarding of new clients.
- Create and present tailored logistics solutions and pricing proposals that address client challenges while protecting profitability.
- Coordinate with operations, pricing, and legal teams to respond to RFPs and tenders with compelling value propositions.
- Partner with marketing to drive targeted campaigns, thought leadership, and events that generate quality pipeline.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, forecast revenue, and provide actionable insights to improve sales process and market strategy.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field; or equivalent relevant experience.
- 3-5+ years of B2B sales or business development experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or related industries.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and closing complex deals.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to influence at senior levels.
- Ability to travel as needed and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment; valid work authorization in Singapore.
- Deep knowledge of freight forwarding, customs, incoterms, and end-to-end supply chain processes.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and MS Office; data-driven approach to pipeline management.
- Self-motivated, resilient, and collaborative with a customer-first mindset.
