Job description
We’re seeking a data-driven, goal-oriented Business Development Manager to join our team in New York City. You’ll drive revenue growth by forging strategic partnerships, expanding into new markets, and delivering value to clients in the B2B SaaS space.
As part of the Growth & Partnerships team, you will own the end-to-end BD lifecycle from prospecting to deal closure, collaborating with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure a seamless buyer journey.
Responsibility
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by researching target markets and buyer personas.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, forecast accurately, and achieve quarterly and annual targets.
- Develop and negotiate partnership agreements, channel programs, and strategic alliances.
- Collaborate with Marketing to design targeted campaigns and content that accelerate lead generation.
- Lead discovery conversations, deliver compelling presentations, and conduct product demos.
- Coordinate with Product and Customer Success to ensure successful onboarding and adoption for partners.
- Analyze market trends, monitor competitor activity, and report insights to leadership.
- Represent the company at industry events and network to expand the partner ecosystem.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 5+ years in business development, partnerships, or enterprise sales within B2B SaaS or tech.
- Proven track record of building strategic partnerships and closing deals with mid-market to enterprise clients.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; ability to articulate complex value propositions.
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, matrixed organization; self-starter with high ownership.
- Data-driven mindset with strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed.
