We seek a results-driven Negotiation Specialist who can craft win-win agreements, manage complex negotiations, and drive value across procurement, sales, and partnerships. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze terms, and guide stakeholders toward optimal outcomes in fast-paced environments.
As a core negotiator on our growth initiatives, you will be responsible for shaping contract terms, evaluating risk, and delivering terms that protect our interests while ensuring strong partner relationships. This role combines analytical rigor with persuasive communication to unlock favorable deals.
Location: New York, NY; Travel: moderate; Remote flexibility available for top candidates.
Responsibility
- Develop and lead negotiation strategies for critical contracts, partnerships, and procurement initiatives.
- Draft, review, and negotiate terms to maximize value while mitigating risk.
- Collaborate with sales, legal, finance, and operations to align on deal structures and approval workflows.
- Assess competitive landscape and benchmark terms to secure favorable outcomes.
- Provide negotiation coaching and guidance to cross-functional teams.
- Track deal progress, concessions, and performance against intended outcomes.
- Resolve conflicts and manage stakeholder expectations through effective communication.
- Identify process improvements to accelerate negotiations and reduce cycle times.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or a related field. MBA a plus.
- 5+ years of B2B negotiation, procurement, or deals experience.
- Proven track record of closing high-value contracts and partnerships.
- Excellent communication, listening, and persuasive negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical ability, with experience in financial analysis and risk assessment.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations and manage multiple negotiations concurrently.
- Experience with contract management systems and CRM tools.
- Collaborative mindset with a customer-centric approach.
