As part of the calibration team, you will assist with the installation, servicing, and calibration of a range of metrology instruments. Under the guidance of experienced technicians, you will gain exposure to equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, surface plates, optical comparators, laser interferometers, temperature and humidity controls, and calibration software. You will learn to interpret calibration standards, apply correct procedures, and document results in a traceable manner to support compliance with quality management systems. The role emphasizes meticulous record‑keeping, data integrity, and adherence to SOPs and safety guidelines.

Responsibility
- Assist with installation, commissioning, and calibration of precision measurement equipment used in production and QA processes.
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and basic diagnostics to ensure instrument readiness.
- Document calibration results with traceable records and update instrument logs and calibration databases.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
- Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions for measurement deviations in collaboration with engineers.
- Assist senior technicians with instrument verification, adjustments, and refurbishment as needed.
- Participate in training programs to build skills in metrology, data analysis, and software tools related to calibration.
- Maintain organized work records and effectively communicate findings to team members.
Qualification
- Diploma or certificate in electronics, engineering, metrology, instrumentation, or a related field; fresh graduates are welcome.
- Interest in precision measurement and metrology with a strong eye for detail.
- Basic knowledge of calibration principles, metrology terms, and measuring equipment.
- Willingness to learn and apply calibrated data procedures, traceability, and QA standards.
- Good manual dexterity, problem-solving ability, and strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Comfort with reading charts, schematics, and technical manuals; basic computer literacy and data entry skills.
- Eligibility to work in Singapore and a proactive attitude toward safety and continuous improvement.
