Responsibility
- Provide comprehensive prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecological care to patients.
- Conduct routine physical examinations, screenings, and preventative services for women.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for high-risk cases.
- Educate patients and families about childbirth, newborn care, lactation, and women's health.
- Attend births and provide labor support both in-hospital and birthing center settings.
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and patient records.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and community health outreach.
- Demonstrate compassionate, culturally competent care at every interaction.
Qualification
- Active Washington State RN and CNM licenses required.
- Master's degree in Nursing or Midwifery from an accredited program.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as a midwife preferred.
- AMCB (American Midwifery Certification Board) certification.
- Current BLS and NRP certifications.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teaching skills.
- Ability to provide care in English; additional language competency a plus.
