mGanik Group is seeking a Channel Development Manager (MT & Pharma Chain) to accelerate strategic growth across Indonesia. As a Strategic Growth Driver who can go beyond standard sales execution, you will own the development of channel strategy, key partnerships, and revenue outcomes within Modern Trade and Pharmaceutical channels. This is a hands-on leadership role for a results-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-trust environment.
In this role, you will design and implement channel plans, build compelling trade marketing programs, and negotiate terms that win at the shelf. You will partner with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Field Sales to deliver successful product launches, promotions, and category growth. Your insights into retailer ecosystems, market trends, and regulatory considerations will shape our go-to-market approach and help ensure compliant, sustainable growth.
As a Channel Development Manager, you will lead with data-driven decision making: analyzing sales performance, share, price realization, and in-store execution. You will identify high-potential accounts, develop joint business plans, and coach field teams to elevate selling skills and customer value. You will also cultivate strong relationships with distributors and major MT retailers, balancing profitability with long-term partnership health.

Responsibility
- Drive channel development and expansion across Modern Trade (MT) and Pharmaceutical (Pharma) channels to achieve year-over-year growth in revenue and market share.
- Develop and execute comprehensive channel plans, including account segmentation, retailer engagement, promotions, and trade marketing programs.
- Build and manage a high-performing partner network of distributors and retailers; negotiate terms, pricing, and promotional support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance) to deliver successful product launches and on-shelf execution.
- Analyze market data, shopper insights, and competitor activity to optimize channel performance and forecast demand.
- Establish and monitor KPIs, provide actionable insights, and implement corrective actions to ensure availability and profitability.
- Develop training and enablement programs for sales teams and distributors to improve product knowledge and selling skills.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Trade Marketing, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in channel development, MT and/or pharma distribution.
- Proven track record of growing MT and pharmaceutical channel revenue; strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Deep understanding of Indonesian retail landscape, wholesalers, distributors, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable plans; proficiency with CRM tools and MS Excel.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration abilities; fluent English and Indonesian preferred.
- Willingness to travel as needed and comfort working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
