Join Alpen Food Industry as Channel Expansion Coordinator and play a pivotal role in shaping our growth strategy in Indonesia. You will identify, develop, and execute new sales channels beyond General Trade and Modern Trade, unlocking opportunities across diverse consumer touchpoints, including e commerce, specialty retailers, food service partners, and institutional buyers. Your work will help extend our brand reach while delivering measurable revenue growth.
As a core member of the sales team, you will blend market insight with hands on channel activation to expand our distribution network, drive revenue, and build lasting partnerships with channel partners. You will collaborate with sales, marketing, and supply chain to ensure channel readiness, maximize the impact of each channel launch, and craft compelling partner programs that win commitments.
In this role you will own end to end channel expansion initiatives—from market analysis and partner onboarding to performance optimization and trade program management. You will monitor key performance indicators, manage budgets for channel initiatives, and continuously optimize the channel mix based on data driven insights. Responsibility
- Identify and evaluate new sales channels beyond General Trade and Modern Trade, including e commerce, specialty retailers, food service, and institutional buyers
- Develop and execute channel expansion strategies aligned with the company growth targets
- Lead end to end onboarding and activation of new channel partners, including contract terms and onboarding materials
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to ensure channel readiness, product assortment, and promotional calendars
- Analyze performance metrics, forecast demand, and optimize channel mix to maximize revenue and profitability
- Negotiate partnerships and manage ongoing relationships with key channel partners
- Create channel specific sales plans, budgets, and trade spend programs
- Monitor competitive landscape and market trends to adjust strategy
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- 2-5 years of experience in sales, channel development, or business development
- Strong analytical, project management, and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship building abilities
- Solid understanding of Indonesia's retail and consumer channels, including emerging channels
- Ability to travel regionally as needed and work cross functionally
- Proficiency with CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), and data analysis
- Fluent in Indonesian; professional English communication
