Responsibility
- Lead civil design for transportation, water resources, site development, and public works projects while meeting technical and schedule requirements.
- Prepare and review plans, specifications, and cost estimates in collaboration with project teams.
- Perform structural, hydrology, and drainage analyses using industry standard software.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance and permit readiness.
- Oversee construction support activities including field observation, QA/QC, and submittal reviews.
- Mentor junior engineers and support professional development within the team.
- Support bid preparation and project delivery through accurate documentation and risk management.
Qualification
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field; PE licensure preferred
- 5 to 8 years of experience in civil design and project management
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D; experience with MicroStation is a plus
- Strong knowledge of codes and standards and ability to ensure compliance
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem solving skills
- Experience with site development, drainage design, and stormwater management is desirable
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain quality under pressure
